I've noticed that a lot of people are starting up all their own tiny, little individual plots... but I got thinking, since there are so many characters here in the asylum, why don't we have something a bit more general happen? Not really a site-wide plot per say, but something for our characters to "participate" in... I guess. o.O

I dunno, I was watching the movie Back Draft a few minutes ago and I started thinking about lighting things on fire. Immediately, I thought of this place (don't ask why X3) and then I thought "What if there was a fire at the asylum?".

That'd be kind of cool.... Pointless but cool. It'd be short since fires don't last long, that way it won't interfere with the little plots going on already. Maybe it could be on one single floor or in a particular section of the building, that way people who don't want to participate can simply claim their characters were elsewhere at the time. I'm guessing the building is more than structurally sound so I doubt they'd need to evacuate or anything, and it probably won't do any damage if the building's made out of concrete so there won't be any long term effects except that everyone involved can remember and talk about it later.

Or, let's say you're in the middle of a plot where your character and another are supposed to fall in love. Well, what better way is there to make someone love you than by saving them from a fire?

It's more of just a random, spur-of-the-moment idea than a suggestion. I admit I haven't really thought much of it through... but I figured I should put it out there for you guys... in case you're like me and bored as far as rp situations go. I don't know about you but I've never rped a fire before... or any sort of major life-threatening disaster or anything like that. Might be a fun thing to try...

That sounds like an interesting idea, since you can be involved if you want, or not at all.
